Where would we be if there was no discovery of electricity today. We will not have any high-tech gadgets, nor mobile phones, no light, no appliances. If this will be the case, you will be using torch lights and candles when we eat.
This may not be that bad at all. With electricity, this makes everything around us easy. With electricity, it powers everything, lights up our houses, propels our appliances to function as well as our home entertainment systems. In shirt, it make the world a better, brighter place to live in. The world uses electricity to make everything operational. Thanks to Ben, it could have been fate that led him to think of flying a kite during a thunderstorm, just a random event that made the world turn! What would happen to the world if we don\’t have electricity?
Not able to blow dry your hair before going out is disturbing, washing your own clothes and dishes without the luxury of dishwashers and washing machine will be a big challenge for us. Listening to your favorite music is what makes the start of our day. What about the convenience of your laptops, HDTVs, your video game consoles, without electricity these conveniences we are very much privileged to have, would never have come to exist!
But in every good thing, there has a punishment. Electricity is very important to us and the absence of such can make life another story, probably another world that is barely imaginable. But every second we use this, the world dies just as much. And the means for us to generate electricity threatens our resources as well. Every year, the temperature of the world has been increasing. And the production of electricity is the major contributor to that. The biggest problem that the world is facing is the heat of the globe itself. Soon, because of the heat, there may be nothing that will be able to survive here.
It might never occur to you as an issue, when youre just about so busy as an ant, that even the most alarming consequences do not appear threatening to you at all! If this would our future, then we have to take part to make this world heal and we have to start now before it is too late. This is the right time to start doing something better. You can start by not splurging on electricity! The world sacrifices its own sake to provide us the perfect place for use to live in, and the only way to repay it is by sacrificing for a good cause too.
